About the OCEAN Assessment
The OCEAN model (also called the "Big Five" or "Five-Factor Model") measures five core dimensions of personality:
- Openness to experience - Imagination, curiosity, and creativity
- Conscientiousness - Organization, responsibility, and reliability
- Extraversion - Sociability, assertiveness, and emotional expressiveness
- Agreeableness - Compassion, respect, and trust toward others
- Neuroticism - Tendency toward negative emotions and stress sensitivity
This scientifically validated assessment has been used in psychological research since the 1950s. Scores reflect where individuals fall on each dimension relative to the general population.
